Too far?

This morning, before I left my house to the railway station, Pa and I were sitting in the living room waiting for time to pass. We talked about school and money and the train.

Pa asked, "通常几点会回到宿舍?(usually what time will you reach your hostel?)"

"大概十二点酱（at about 12)"

"太远了啦（too far)"

"huh?"

"你读书太远了（you are studying too far away.)"

"我习惯了啦（I am used to it already.)"

"..."

"..."


I am not sure whether he was just worried that I might feel tired during the long train journey,
or he was trying to tell me not to go further.


Anyway, I think I care more about the posting results tomorrow.
